Welcome to Green Drive Hall

'The Village Hall in the City'

The Green Drive Hall we understand is the “new” successor to a wooden shed which occupied the site from the early 1950s to the late 1960s when the “new hall” was constructed and was formerly known as Culduthel Hall.

We took back the Hall on the 1st April 2011 when control was resumed by the Community.

Green Drive Hall is well used both for regular classes such as dancing, zumba , martial arts and the 678 Club (a club for the more mature members of our community) and for special one-off events such as birthday parties, council consultations and as a polling station in both local and national elections. Hopefully you have been in the Hall for one or two of these classes or events.

The Hall Committee is always keen to hear from people in the area or from  potential or existing  users of the Hall  with comments – good or bad and we hope that this website will help with that. It will also allow us to promote our fundraising events over the coming months and years.

The Green Drive Hall is an important community asset for our area and the surrounding locality as is the area of green space around the hall. You can help maintain and improve both by getting involved in some way – we are always happy to speak to people who have special skills and may be willing to give of their time. A little involvement goes a long way – picking up and binning a piece of litter lying on the hall grounds helps to maintain its appearance.

Thank you for visiting our website, and I look forward to seeing you at the Hall
